The SCX-H is the hex head (external-drive) version of NBK’s alumina ceramic screw, made of 99.5% high-purity alumina and usable up to about 1500 °C. It shares the ceramic’s heat resistance, chemical resistance and electrical insulation, but the external hex lets it be driven with an open-end or socket wrench. A ceramic, electrically insulating screw for wrench-accessible hot joints.
